Connect Modpack

One connection works everywhere you use Claude: the web, the desktop app, the phone apps and Claude Code. It takes about a minute.

Step 1: Copy the Modpack address
Press Add to Claude here or on any pack’s page, and Claude opens its dialog with the address filled in. Or copy it:

Step 2: Paste it in Claude
Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector. Name it Modpack, paste the address, and press Add.

Step 3: Sign in to Modpack once
Claude opens one Modpack page. Sign in with Google, Apple or a passkey, check the one-line summary, and press Agree and connect.
Step 4: Ask in your own words
Back in Claude: “Use Modpack to check example.com”. The result comes back in the chat.

Run this once. It adds Modpack to every project, then opens the browser so you can sign in. Over SSH, add --no-browser and open the link it prints.

We’re testing Modpack with Codex now. Until it’s ready, use Claude or Claude Code.

On your phone

iPhone · Android

Add Modpack once on claude.ai, from a computer or your phone’s browser. It appears in the Claude app the next time you open it. When Claude needs you to sign in, approve or top up, it gives you a link that opens Modpack and brings you back.

Adding connectors from the phone is in beta at Anthropic. If Modpack doesn’t stay connected, add it on claude.ai once.

Troubleshooting

Modpack doesn’t show up in Claude Code

Type /mcp. If it isn’t listed and you use an API key, run the command above.

Claude says Modpack needs to reconnect

In Claude, open Settings › Connectors › Modpack and press Connect. In Claude Code: /mcp, pick Modpack, then Authenticate.

“You can only add one custom connector”

Claude Free allows one. Remove the other custom connector, or use a paid plan.

There’s no Add button on Claude Team

Only Owners can add connectors. Ask one to add Modpack once; then everyone can use it.
